One-on-One Training
Bespoke training and advice for you and your dog
Description
1-1 training sessions are designed to give you personalised support, clear guidance, and practical skills that help you and your dog thrive together. Whatever the age or history of your dog, your training plan is tailored to your goals, your lifestyle, and your dog’s individual needs. Every training journey begins with a friendly, in depth consultation. We’ll talk through: • Your dog’s history, routine, and behaviour • Any challenges you’re experiencing • Your goals for training • Your dog’s environment, lifestyle, and learning style This session helps me to understand what’s happening and why, so I can create a plan that’s realistic, kind, and effective. You’ll leave with immediate steps to get started. After your consultation, you’ll receive a clear, written training plan that includes: • Step by step exercises • Management strategies to reduce unwanted behaviour • Video demonstrations where helpful • Tailored advice for your dog’s age, breed, and temperament • Weekly goals to keep you on track Your plan is designed to be simple, achievable, and supportive, no overwhelm, no jargon. Should you wish to have further follow up sessions to build on your progress and help you refine your skills. We’ll: • Practise training exercises together • Adjust your plan as your dog improves • Troubleshoot any new challenges • Support you through real life situations (walks, visitors, settling at home, etc.) These sessions keep you moving forward with confidence. Between sessions, you can send videos of your training or any behaviour you’d like help with. This allows me to: • Review your technique • Spot small details that make a big difference • Give quick feedback • Keep your training consistent It’s like having a trainer in your pocket. Training can include: • Recall – coming back quickly and happily • Loose lead walking – calmer, more enjoyable walks • General manners – polite greetings, waiting, settling • Sit, down, stay – reliable foundation cues • Emergency stop – a vital safety skill • Eye contact & engagement – building focus around distractions • Confidence building – supporting anxious or unsure dogs • Calm behaviour at home – reducing jumping, barking, or over excitement
